September 13, 1939 - February 10, 2024

The family of Stanley Merle Crandall is saddened to announce his passing on February 10, 2024, in Williams Lake BC. Stan was born September 13, 1939, in Omak Washington. Stan and Vanette moved with their family to Williams Lake in 1965, where he became well-known in the trucking business.

Stan was a social guy! He was known for his love of coffee chats, his classic phone etiquette, frequent movie dates, and good storytelling.

Stan is survived by children Ken (Darlene), Wes, Jeff, and Kelly (Doyle) Flaherty. As well as his grandchildren Jeremy Crandall, Jenna Crandall, Holly Zurak (Aaron), Erin Beaudry (Patrick), Melissa Bowman, Travis Flaherty (Kelly) and Darcy Flaherty (Leah).

As well as great-grandchildren Quinn and Emersyn Beaudry, Olivia and Mila Zurak, Landon Watson, and Scarlett Flaherty. Also Sue and Fernando Correia, and Michelle Palmer, who are forever family.

Our family sincerely thanks Dr. Jennifer Takahashi and Dr. Francina Vander Merwe for Stan's care during the past 5 years, as well as more recently the care team at Cariboo Memorial Hospital. Thank you to the caring staff at the Village who will miss Stan dearly.

Thank you to the far reaches of friends and family for their support and shared, sincere condolences. As were Stan's wishes, our family will gather to remember him in a private celebration of life.

A public service will not be held. We will all miss Stan dearly, may he now rest in peace.
