In loving memory ~ (1936-2021) With great sadness we announce the passing of Stanley Kinkead after a short stay in the hospital in Terrace.
He was born in the Red Cross Hospital in Alexis Creek and grew up in Alexis Creek. He came to Williams Lake to live in the dorm and attend high school. He graduated and went to work at the Bank of Commerce. He continued with the bank until he left to work for Buckerfields.
In 1973 he moved to Terrace and bought Samsons Poultry Farm and later bought a ranch to be managed by his brother in law, Gerhart Walter. They raised cattle and potatoes.
When he retired and sold these ventures he spent several years renovating houses & motels. Stan is predeceased by his wife Florence, both parents, his father in 1965 and his mother in 2014 at the age of 104. His sister Janet MacKay and brothers in law, Bud (Robert) McLennon and Gerhart Walter. Two nephews, Martin Walter and Michael MacKay.
He is survived by his brother Allan Kinkead (Lorrie), sisters Joan McLennon, Doreen Walter and Marilyn (John) VanTol and his wife Beatrice and her two children.
There will be a memorial service at the Tree Church in Terrace, October 30, 2021.
