Sandra Elaine Halverson was born on October 29, 1957 and passed away peacefully at home on January 5, 2003 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Sandra is survived by her three sons Scott, Warren and Sean, two granddaughters Teanna and Madison; boyfriend Mark; mother and stepfather Jean and Ralph Allan; brothers Russell (Jocelyn), Lonny, Danny (Tracy); sisters Shannon (Blaine), Shelly (Trevor), Yvonne (Jody), Angela (Mike), and Jennifer; 19 nieces and nephews and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Sandra was born and raised in Dawson Creek and relocated to Prince George for a short while.
In the summer of 1980 she moved to Williams Lake and proceeded to make this her home.
She worked for several years at the CIBC and then moved on to the field of financial investments.
Sandra was very community oriented and never shied from lending a hand where needed.
She was an active member of the Kiwanis Club and served a two-year term as president of the club.
Sandra had a passion for ladies fastball and funball and was a very enthusiastic hockey and soccer mom.
Her love of life, family and friends was the most noticeable thing about her.
It was very rare that the smile didn’t touch our eyes or our hearts.
She had a way to make even the worst day seem okay.
Forever in our hearts; forever in our thoughts; forever angel eyes.
