It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our sweet Sandra; wife, mother, daughter, nana, nani, sister, auntie, cousin and beloved friend.
Sandra was born October 30th, 1954 in Chilliwack, B.C. She passed on December 4th, 2022 in her beloved community of Williams Lake. Sandra is survived by her husband Dave, sons
Martin (Jaimie), Gordon (Andrea), and Andrew (Megan) and grandchildren Gabe, Paige, Ben, Judah, Nash, Sloan, Wren, Layne, Wells, her mother Judy, sister Lorraine (Henry), brother Dan, nieces Becky (Francis) and Janice (Kelly), and nephew Jason. She is predeceased by her father John and her sister Linda.
Sandy was a proud member of the Spuzzum First Nation and was part of the Williams Lake Indigenous Court. She was a lover of children, nature, and classical music, and had a passion for indigenous cedar basket weaving, and baking. Her selfless and caring way was always offered to those in need without pause. Sandra was always the first to help in her community, with her family and with her friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 17th, 2022, at 1:30 p.m. at the Cariboo Bethel Church, 833 Western Ave, Williams Lake, B.C.
