Charles (Sam) Ash
Sorely missed and forever deep in our hearts.
Born November 16, 1944 in Kamloops, BC he passed away in his sleep in the early hours of December 26, 2010 at his home in Williams Lake.
Sam was predeceased by his mother Hattie Ash and his father Chris Ash, two sisters Charlotte and Evelyn and brother Edwin.
Sam is survived by his sister Betty, brother Roger, sons Chris, Craig and Charlie, grandchildren Creston, Colby, Whitney, Corbin and Austin. He is also survived by his very dear nephews from the Colville family, his cherished companion Debbie, Aunt Elsie and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Raised in Big Lake, Sam spent most of his life in Williams Lake. His construction company, Ash Construction, built many homes in the area throughout the 1970’s and early 1980’s. He turned his focus to the logging industry in the mid 1980’s until he retired in the mid 2000’s.
A celebration of Sam’s life will be held at the old
Bil-Nor on Saturday, January 1st at 2:00 pm.
