Robin Leigh Driver

June 29, 1955 - June 8, 2010

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robin Leigh Driver. Robin passed away peacefully at the Vancouver General Hospital surrounded by her family on June 8th, 2010 after a short but courageous battle with cancer.

No matter where life’s journey took Robin, her quick wit, charm and contagious smile enabled her to draw a following of cherished and loved friends along the way. Robin enjoyed camping and fishing on her days off or a long weekend but most holidays you could find her on the waters of Quesnel Lake. When she wasn’t soaking up the sun at the lake she was spending time with her family. Either putting

on a holiday feast which she enjoyed so much due to her love for cooking or even just a pot of coffee, Robin always made time for everyone.

Left to cherish her memory are her partner and friend for 22 years Wayne Jolivet, her three daughters, Kathleen Driver (John), Amanda (Cameron), Lilly and Eryn (Ross) Geddes, her six grandchildren Kyle and Taylor Pigeon, Charissa, Kimberly and Eric Scheffler and Burton Geddes. Her parents Peter and Margaret Robert, her two sisters Maureen (Leo) Hebert, Jackie (Ken) Dietz and her brother Richard (Cathy) Robert along with many much loved nieces and nephews.

An afternoon of memories and reflection will be held at the seniors activity centre in Williams Lake, British Columbia on Friday, June 18th, 2010 at 2:00pm. All are welcome to come and share in a celebration of her life.

In lieu of flowers please make a donation to one’s charity of choice or the Canadian Cancer Society in Robin’s honour.

Mom, a bright light has gone out in our lives but our love and memories of you will fill our hearts forevermore.
