It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Robert Kenneth Dell (Robin) of Merritt, B.C.
Robin grew up in the Cariboo. He loved country music and was a good guitar player and singer. As an adult he worked for the Highways Dept. starting at Bridge Lake transferred to Kitwanga, later to Hope area at the starting of the Coquihalla and Merritt.
Retiring early, he was able to enjoy his favourite activities, like fishing, camping, spending time with family and friends and traveling. He went on numerous family cruises which included Hawaii, Panama Canal, Caribbean, and Alaska. (No Children)
He leaves and will be missed by his loving wife Margaret Dell; his mother Eileen Dell; brothers Gerry (Rose) John (April), Albert (Chris); daughter Lorri (Chris); son Sean; stepsons Brandon McDonald (Shannon) and Wyatt McDonald; grandchildren Brittany, Alyssa & Gabriel; step-grandson Gage; great-grandchildren, Braiden, Isaak and Shane.
Robin was the 1st of 17 grandsons and 2 granddaughters for Bill & May Broughton of Alexandria & Williams Lake (Momma + Poppa). Robin will also be missed by many relatives and lifelong friends.
Predeceased by his father Herbert Dell, Bill and May Broughton, Bert & Gertie Dell.
The family would like to thank the staff at Coquihalla Gillis House for their care, compassion and friendship over the past 6 years.
