In Loving Memory ~
Robert William Pilgrim, born in Toronto, Ontario March 4, 1935, passed away peacefully in Cariboo Memorial hospital on April 23, 2022 at the age of 87. Predeceased by his Dad, William Pilgrim, his Mother Kate, and Brother David, his passing is lovingly mourned by his wife Gail, his sister Sylvia, sons Ron and Tom, daughter Shelley, stepchildren Don, Catherine and Debbie, 22 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Moving to Williams Lake in 1967 with his wife Pat, and their children, Bob built their home on Fox Mt., where he continued to live until his passing. He worked in School District 27 for 23 years.
After retiring as Custodial Supervisor, he bought a Woodmizer saw; cutting lumber from his property to build keepsakes for family, to build cupboards and wood floors in the house. He became an active, enthusiastic Bee Keeper - helping others to begin their own business. He enjoyed designing and constructing his own projects, which included a gas and an electric bicycle, a home hatchery for chickens and ducks, constructing buildings to house his animals.
Bob was a Museum member, enjoyed socializing, listening to Country and Western music and hymns, attending Seniors' Center lunches.
A Memorial will be held May 7th, 2022 at 2:00 pm in the E.F.C. Church on 11th.
