Robert "Robbie" Grinder

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Robert James Grinder at his home in Clinton on Tuesday, October 11, 2016. Robbie was 71 years of age.


Robbie will be sadly missed by his loving son Merle, and siblings Dale Grinder of Kamloops, Phyllis (Gordon) Quechuck of Surrey as well as his nephews Peter Thomas Grinder, Carl, Cole and Nolan, nieces Renae, Cheyenne, Karie, Taylor, Jordan, Melessia & Marcellia. He is also survived by his grandchildren Cedar Rose, Sky, and Lucas.


Robbie loved hunting, horseback riding, salmon fishing and spending time out in nature. He also enjoyed taking trips with family and friends, and spending time at the Big Bar Homestead. He spent many years up North as a wilderness and hunting guide.


Optional Prayer Services will be held from St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Clinton at 10:00am on Saturday, October 29, 2016. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at the Kings Lake Memorial Garden Cemetery in Clinton and a reception will be held afterwards at the Clinton Memorial Hall.
