August 17, 1935 - March 22, 2019
Norm was born at Rossland, BC on August 17, 1935. The family then moved to Reno mine at Salmo, then to Surrey where Norm went to school. At age 18 he went to Salmo to work at the the Canex mine. Outside of 2 years Norm's life was spent in mining. Elliott Lake, Ontario, Merritt, Fraser Lake and Williams Lake, BC Norm enjoyed working at the mines and the men he worked with.
Norm leaves to mourn his loving wife of 60 years Edna-May, daughter Heather (Greg), son Ron (Tiffany) and 5 grandchildren, Ryan & Kaila Van Soest, Matthew Simard, Alexis & Aidan Myhre and his little dog Chloe. Dave & Norm are mining again!
