Phyllis Eleanor Bejcar

Our beloved Phyl left us on

March 4, 2011. She was born to the late Martha and Joseph Bejcar in Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan. She grew up on the family farm and spent the first eighteen years of her life in Hudson Bay. Shortly after graduating she and her high school friend set out to Williams Lake on a summer adventure. She met the love of her life, Alan Clark, and the two of them

were inseparable until her passing. Partners in love and in business.

Phyllis was a class act and anyone who had the pleasure of being part of her life quickly discovered how beautiful she was; kind to a fault, thoughtful, serene, compassionate and caring and the best friend anyone could have. Phyl’s family and friends were the most important part of her life and she honoured those relationships. We are all truly blessed having had her in our lives.

Phyl loved to travel and it didn’t matter whether it was a short weekend jaunt with her family or extended vacations with Alan. They enjoyed many winter escapes to Hawaii and Mexico. But her utmost favourite destination was Tofino and the serenity and peacefulness it offered.

Those left mourning her are her spouse Alan Clark, her sisters Mary, Nellie, Cassie, Josephine, Carolyn, Tenny and Cheryl, her brothers Mike and John, numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

At Phyl’s request there will be no funeral. The family will hold a private memorial at a later date.

Anyone wishing to honour Phyllis may make a contribution to the charity of their choice in her name.
