Pearl (Oliver) Challenger (nee Ladyka) - age 97, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 21, 2018. Angels surrounded her as she made her final journey.
Pearl was born January 1, 1921 in Sheho, Saskatchewan but spent most of her adult life in the lower mainland of British Columbia and her last two years in Williams Lake to be closer to family. Pearl touched so many with her smile, kindness and gentle soul.
Pearl leaves behind three children (spouses), seven grandchildren (spouses), nine great grandchildren (spouses), two great-great grandchildren, as well as many friends throughout the province.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Glenn Fedor, the Williams Lake Seniors Village, and the Nurses and Care Aides in the Chilcotin Wing for their compassionate care.
As per her request a private family gathering will take place at a later date.
