March 21, 1947 - August 27, 2022

In loving memory ~
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Pauline Stevens (nee Erickson) on August 27, 2022 at the age of 75.
Pauline was born in New Westminster, BC on March 21, 1947. The youngest of four siblings, she was raised on her parents' dairy farm in Coquitlam. At a young age she met her lifelong love, Raymond Stevens. They were married in 1964 and settled in Chemainus, BC, in a little shack on the beach. A son and daughter made the family complete. In 1971, Pauline supported her husband in a dream to move to the Cariboo and become ranchers.
In addition to ranching, bookkeeping and raising a family, Pauline worked for many years as a dental receptionist and as an insurance adjuster. Then, for an added challenge, she co-founded a new business called Wise Windows and Doors, and worked there until she retired to ranch life.
In her spare time, Pauline was an active member in her community of Miocene and helped organize many Father's Day Auctions and other events. She enjoyed travelling, gardening, various crafts, puzzles, and many family camping, fishing and ski trips. She was our rock.
Pauline never got over losing her loving husband, Ray, in 2013. She is survived by her son Colin Stevens, daughter Dani (Dan) Yauck, grandchildren Ryan (Kim) Stevens, Cole Stevens, Nathan Yauck and Alexandra Yauck; step-grandchild Mandy DeBoer and great-grandchildren Hayley and Adelyn. She was pre-deceased by her daughter-in-law, Fran Ritchot in 2021. She will be dearly missed by her little dog 'Buddy'.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to all of Mom's caregivers. A celebration of her life will be held at her ranch at a future date.
