Olive "June" (Jasper) Bliss of Alexis Creek, BC, passed away peacefully on the 5th of December 2018 at the age of 95. She was a true pioneer; spending her life in the Chilcotin. Always actively involved in her community, June worked tirelessly to honor and preserve their collective history. She was often looked to for her stories, as well as the odd anecdote, regarding the trials and tribulations of the first families in the area. June is survived by daughter, Lorraine (Darrell) and grandchildren, Trista (Michael) and Robert. She was predeceased by her husband, Jack, and her son, Ronald (Faye) (Diane).

tea in June's honour at 1 pm, June 8th, 2019 at the Alexis Creek Community Hall, 2620 Stum Lake Rd, Alexis Creek.
