It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Norman (Brud) Lee on May 15th, 2022 at the age of 84. Fondly known to most as Brud, he leaves behind his wife Anne, daughter Michelle (Marc), son Nick (Marina), grandchildren Jason (Ellie), Randi Leigh (Ryan), Sienna (Brad), Cameron, Gavin and great grandchildren Jaxon, Cohen, Kingston as well as sisters Wendy, Sheila and brother Robin (Cindy) along with many nieces and nephews.
Born in Williams Lake in 1937, Brud grew up and worked the family ranch at Lee's corner for the majority of his life where he met Anne who's family were living at the TH guest ranch. Brud and Anne were married in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho March 16th, 1966 and settled at Lee's corner where they raised their family. In addition to ranching, Brud was an avid hunter and enjoyed target shooting with the Alexis creek Rod and Gun club. The bright spot in his week for 56 years was delivering mail to Big creek every Friday morning where he developed some great friendships with the area residents. Brud retired from the post office in 2015 when he and Anne sold their place near Lee's corner and subsequently left the Chilcotin, relocating to Chase, BC.
Brud was a loving husband, fantastic father and sincere friend to all those that knew him. It goes without saying that he is greatly missed by his family and friends as he always made time for those around him.
