Murphy, Michael John
On Tuesday morning, October 29th, 2013 Michael passed away peacefully in his home in Kamloops after a long struggle with cancer. Michael, the only son and oldest of three children to Michael and Catherine Murphy was born in Vancouver, B.C. July 18, 1953. Michael had a talent for art, enjoyed working on old trucks and was an avid hockey fan. Michael’s big heart and even bigger smile will be missed by many. He leaves behind his son Kyle and grandson Tommy, his daughter Shannon, his sisters Maureen (Rick) and Monica (Scott), his niece Michaela and many close friends. The family will hold a small service in Kamloops with interment to follow at Forest Lawn in Burnaby. Condolences can be expressed to the family at: www.inmemoriam.ca
