October 25, 1941 - August 26, 2020
On August 26, Merlin Passed away peacefully after a gradual decline in health surrounded by family and supported by loving care workers and staff of Cariboo place in Williams Lake.
Born in new Westminster BC, October 25, 1941 and only child to Henry and Elizabeth Steen.
He leaves behind two daughters Merle and Debbie, stepchildren Brent and Tania, eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild and he's loving companion Cindy. He retired from Weldwood at 65 now known as West Fraser Mills as a millwright.
Merlin will be remembered by his joking manner and his quick wit. He loved his Tyee Lake where forever he will be in his same favourite spot.
