It is with a heavy heart that we announce the unexpected passing of Maurice Joseph Forseille of Williams Lake on May 19, 2024. Maurice was 86 at the time and passed peacefully in his sleep while in the hospital for a couple of weeks.
Maurice was born January 28,1938 in Jordan River Saskatchewan.
Many people called Maurice by "Moe or Uncle Moe" and in 1965 he met his soul mate "PENNY" Nicole Mogg and were inseparable from then on. On June 18,1966 they wed and were married 54 years before Penny passed on May 21,2021. Moe and Penny had two children Bruce (Cindy) and Brenda (Stewart).
The Couple moved to Williams Lake after leaving the Lower mainland in 1973. Maurice had a great sense of humor and loved to joke around. He spent many hours "tinkering" around in his shop, growing a garden, and spending time with his Grandchildren (Blair, Derick, Ryan, and Sarah). Upon retirement Moe and Penny spent countless hours donating their time at the Williams Lake Seniors Activity Center.
There will be a Tea at the Williams Lake Seniors Activity Center on June 22, 2024 at 1pm followed by a TEA, sharing stories and a treat.
