In loving memory ~
Born in Regina, Saskatchewan, Mary Margaret (née Klenk) Haffner grew up in Imperial, SK. She moved to Mission, BC and worked at a matchstick plant. She met and married her husband Frank there.
They moved to the Cariboo where she raised her family and helped run the family sawmill and logging businesses. After the loss of her husband, she moved to Williams Lake where she lived out the rest of her long, happy and healthy life before passing away peacefully at the age of 96 on October 1, 2022.
She will be dearly missed by children, Anton (Margaret), William (Maureen), Caroline (Clifford) and Richard (Kathy); grandchildren, Jason (Nikki), Brent (Natalia), Holly (Rob), Danielle (Daniel), Amber and Jerett; great-grandchildren, Piper, Maeve and Jackson; sisters Isabelle and Ellen; brother James (Gladys); as well as numerous relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Frank; and brother, Carl.
The family would like to thank the Williams Lake Seniors Village staff for their care and compassion.
