July 8, 1937 - April 12, 2019
Margaret was born to Rita and Charlie Hannah in Summerland, BC. Her family moved to Surrey and then to Burnaby where she grew up. She began her long time career with BC Telephone Co in New Westminster.
Margaret moved to Williams Lake still working for BC Tel (now Telus) where she met and married her telephone lineman, Marvin Hansen.
Margaret was active in the community she made her home for forty years. She was very involved in the Rick Hansen Wheels in Motion campaign. She particularly loved volunteering for the Williams Lake Stampede not stopping until she was no longer physically able.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:30 Saturday, May 18th, 2019 in MacKinnon Hall at St. Andrews United Church, 1000 Huckvale Place, Williams Lake.
