It's with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father/grandfather Lloyd Rolston. Lloyd passed away at the age of 89 on April 19, 2024.
Lloyd was born in Quil Lake, Saskatchewan, moved to Vancouver, and then settled in Williams Lake where he met his soulmate of 63 years Betty. Lloyd always said she was his one in a million.
Lloyd had a love of fishing, hunting, camping, and all things sport. When he wasn't out in the wilderness, he could be found watching hockey with his family. He worked hard all his life, but he always said his favourite job was playing Keno.
He is greatly loved and dearly missed by his family, his children Lorrie (Randy) Worsley, Lorna (Jack) Mullett, Craig (Leanne) Rolston, and Patty (Wayne) Hammond. As well as his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Sabrina (Deven), Kyle (Adrienne), Britney (Riley), Alysha (Blake), Andrew (Licheng) and Cass (Ren), Audrey, Shane, Emma, Alora, Bowen, Brecken, and Benjamin.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the Canucks For Kids fund.
