It is with heavy hearts and great sadness we announce the passing of Lewis Graeme MacDonald born January 28th, 1946 and passed away June 28th, 2018.

Lewis is survived by his wife Helen MacDonald, three children, Gerron (Tamara), Nancy and Ian. He was a loving grandfather and cherished his grandchildren: Trae and Devan Sanford, MacKenzie and Marnie MacDonald.

Lewis was born in Halifax to Emmeline and Lawrence MacDonald. He is survived by his loving sisters Lorraine, Monica (Leo), and Dorothy. He was predeceased by his brother John Wayne MacDonald, brother Sterling, brother in law Sonny and sisters Patricia, Gloria and Joan.

Lewis moved with his family to Williams Lake in June of 1981. His favourite times were spent camping with Helen and his children and grandchildren. He loved to fish with his son Gerron, talk politics with his daughter Nancy and go watch the Vancouver Canucks with his son Ian. He had an immense passion for history and could always be found in his favourite rocking chair reading a book about history.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Caribou Memorial Hospital ambulatory care and the blood lab. HIs family would like to thank all of the nurses in ambulatory care and the blood lab who treated Lewis with such loving care.
