June 7, 1955 - April 19, 2021
Leonard John McKeage was born in High River, Alberta, on June 7, 1955, and passed away at Williams Lake, B.C. on April 19, 2021, at the age of 65 years. Len lived in Victoria, B.C. for several years as well as other places in B.C. He lived and worked in Williams Lake for over 30 years as a taxi driver on the night shift for Town Taxi.
Len is survived by his sister, Ruby (Rob) Krueger of High River, Alberta; his two nieces, Tammy (Ralph) Morrow of High River, Alberta; Valerie Krueger of Calgary, Alberta; and numerous cousins in Alberta and friends in Williams Lake.
He was predeceased by his wife, Louise, in 1993; his parents, Vernon and Caroline McKeage; and his brother, Charles McKeage.
A special thanks to his caregivers, Derrick and Mary-Lou Kiefiuk, and good friends Janice Leighton, Kyle Deakin and Kit Schultz. A thank you also to Drs. Fedor and Kriek and the nurses at the Cariboo Memorial Hospital.
According to his wishes, Len will be cremated and no funeral service will be held.
