On January 3, 2017, Kirk Wade Seibert of Melfort, Saskatchewan ended his journey here on Earth and started a new one in Heaven.

Kirk passed away at the age of 59 from ALS, which he gracefully faced with a positive attitude, courage and dignity.

Kirk was born on May 11, 1957 to Siegfried and Christina Seibert and grew up with his sister Cindy and brother Ed in Williams Lake. On November 15, 1980, Kirk married Marguerite (Dingwell) Seibert. The same year he began his 25-year career with the RCMP that took him to several locations in Saskatchewan, his longest posting being in Melfort. Upon retiring from the RCMP Kirk embarked on further pursuits as a beekeeper, truck driving and lastly with an 8-year career as a Patrol Officer with the Saskatchewan Highway Transport Patrol.

Kirk and Marguerite were blessed with two daughters, Jennifer and Chantelle. Kirk lived a life of faith in Christ and was actively involved in his church. He loved to run and jogged almost every day; his greatest enjoyment came from spending time with family and he made it his number one priority. Recent years have seen the addition of two sons-in-law and four beautiful lively granddaughters, whom he loved spending time with and have been such joys in his life.

Kirk was known for his bright smile, laughter and sense of humour. He truly enjoyed life! He will lovingly be remembered as a devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle and a loyal friend to many.

Those left behind rejoice in the promise of Jesus, that we will be reunited for eternity. Kirk is survived by loving wife Marguerite (nee: Dingwell); daughters: Jennifer (Craig) Yeung and their daughters: Norah and Audrey; Chantelle (Jeremy) Derbowka and their daughters: Phalyn and Natalie; his parents: Siegfried and Christina Seibert; siblings: Cindy (Brian) Lewis and family, Ed (Candace) Seibert and family and aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
