Kathleen 'Kathy' Mennie

19344-2021 ~ In loving memory of Kathleen (Kathy) Mennie ~ With deep sadness we announce the passing of Kathleen (Kathy) Mennie, Aug. 6th, 2021. In the Williams Lake Senior Village. She was born 1934 to Frank and Mable Mennie in Wadena, Sask. She was the third of four children; Bert, Evelyn, Kathleen and Earl.
Kathleen married Willard Mennie on April 3rd, 1962 in Oxbow, Sask. They moved to Quesnel, BC where they lived for two years, during which time their daughter Kelly was born. In 1964 they moved to Williams Lake for work. In 1968 their son Shane was born and their family was complete.
Kathleen worked for a short time at Chili Hotel. Then went on to a 12 year career at CIBC where she retired in 1987. In later years Kathleen spent many hours looking after her yard and flowers.
As well as watching her five grandchildren Jenna, Brett, Kaila, Hunter and Teanna.
Predeceased by husband Willard in 1995, sister Evelyn in 2014, and brother Bert in 2016. Survived by: Brother Earl, daughter Kelly (Tom), grandchildren: Brett, Kaila, Teanna; son Shane (Claudette), grandchildren: Jenna, Hunter.
Service will be held at the Williams Lake Cemetery Grave Side, Sept. 17th, 2021 at 11 am for family and friends. Then Celebration of Life at daughter's Kelly Melville, 924 Dog Creek Road at 1 pm - 4 pm.
