March 24, 1947 - June 22, 2022
Karen Carrier passed away peacefully on June 22, 2022 with her family by her side.
She will be dearly missed by children, Mark Carrier (Kari), Brett Carrier (Heather), Michelle Carrier (Curtis), Shane Carrier (Allison), her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Karen was born March 24, 1947 in New Westminster, BC. Karen and her mother moved around British Columbia, eventually settling in Williams Lake briefly, where she met Denis Carrier. The two of them were married in 1963 creating a beautiful family and life together.
Karen spent the earlier years of their marriage raising her family and doing the bookkeeping for Denis's trucking company. When her children had grown, Karen started her own business in 1991, opening Valley Video at the 150 Mile Center.
After retirement, she spent her days visiting family, caring for her grandchildren, and spending time in her flower gardens. Always welcoming friends and family over to share stories and a laugh over coffee or a beer at her kitchen table.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Magnusson for his care and compassion for looking after our mother. As well, a thank you to the Williams Lake Senior's Village for their kindness in Karen's final days.
Although our hearts are heavy, we know that Karen and Denis are now together again. As per her request, there will be no service.
