In loving memory ~
On Aug 31, 2024, Julie got her wings after a long hard-fought battle with cancer with family and close friends by her side.
Born in the UK, Julie moved at age 10 with her family to Williams Lake. Julie loved the Cariboo, enjoying outdoor recreation, hunting, fishing, and camping with her loving husband Phil. Julie will be missed by all her immediate and extended family and the many friends she cherished. Julie was known as always up for an adventure and someone you could count on and often put others before herself. Julie loved the children in her life she fondly called "Little Pickle Heads", there was never a dull moment when Julie was around.
She had a huge heart and a big laugh that will never be forgotten. Julie and her family would like to thank the medical and oncology team that supported her care and the staff at Cariboo Memorial Hospital. She expressed her gratitude and fondness for her family and the friends she called family in her final days.
By request there will be a private family ceremony in the Serenity Garden at the Williams Lake Cemetery, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date where everyone will be encouraged to wear Julies favourite colour bright orange.
