Forever in Our Hearts ~
It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of Judy McCreery.
Judy passed peacefully in her sleep on August 6, 2022 at the Deni House in Williams lake, B.C., after a short battle with cancer.
Judy was born in Athabasca, Alberta on February 10, 1935.
She is predeceased by her parents-William (Bill) Barnes and Hazel Barnes; Her brothers and sister in-laws -Rodney & Donna, Ken & Marlene, & Larry Barnes, daughter - Diana Foster and granddaughter - Marie Seltenrich.
Survivors - (son) John Foster, (daughters) Becky Michel, Lorna Foster, Dawn Seltenrich and Lomma McCreery, along with the many grandkids and great grandkids.
Judy was a wonderful, kind, and caring mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend. She was always ready to give a helping hand to family and friends.
To know Judy was to love Judy. Along her journeys, she became like a mother, grandma, and aunt to many. She enjoyed her years of working at Woolworths in Williams Lake where she made many longtime friends.
She retired and moved to Grand Forks BC with Robert Gray.
Judy returned to Williams Lake, where she spent her time volunteering at the Senior Citizens Activity Centre and the Cariboo Memorial Hospital.
She spent her last few years at the Senior Village in Williams Lake, which she really enjoyed.
Many thanks to all the wonderful people at the Senior Village for their great care of our mother.
Judy will be greatly missed.
