February 6, 1931 - January 13, 2020
It is with extreme sadness the family of AJ announces his passing at the age of 88, a month before his 89th birthday.
AJ was born in St. Eustache, Manitoba to David and Annette Bremner. One of 15 children. AJ grew up in a small farming community outside Brandon, Manitoba. He migrated to British Columbia in the 50's, where he started his life time career of logging. He moved to Maillardville, BC and worked at CIL Plastics in Delta. He had two loves in life, Eva and Ursula. AJ was an owner operator of his own logging truck well into his retirement.
He was an avid bowler his whole life. He coached his little league team to the Little League World series in Oregon, beating out every BC Team.
AJ was a natural athlete. Waterskiing well into his 50s. Golfing and bowling into his 80s. His children remember many camping trips to Felker Lake and musical evenings at home. His home was a gathering place through the years. He loved to beat his friends and family at cribbage, horseshoes and pool. AJ and Ursula loved to travel, one of their most memorable trips was to the Alamo and Grand Ole Opry.
AJ was predeceased by Eva in 1998 and Ursula in 2015. He will be dearly missed by his children Allan(Imbi),Debbie(Steve), Cameron, Brenda(Andrew), Irene(Richard) and Christine. His 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be in the spring.
