It is with great sadness and sorrow, the family of John Weinert announce his passing on October 8th 2021 in Williams Lake peacefully in his home.
John was born February 15th 1931 and immigrated to Canada from Romania in 1954 and moved to Williams Lake where he had later invited his future wife Alina from Germany.
Upon arriving in Canada, John had worked in the farming and mill industry. He later applied his carpenter skills in construction.
John also had a passion for farming and gardening which he took great pride in.
John is survived by his loving and supporting wife Alina, daughters Monika ( Murray), Rita (Richard) and son Alan (Pearl). Grandchildren Megan (Kris), Kira (Dave), Shaylene (Lee), Sheldon, Rylan, Alvis ( Cassie) and Jevin. Great grandchildren Ziggy, Indy and Goldie. Also many other family members and friends.
John has a surviving sister, brother and is predeceased by his mother, father and youngest brother.
We will always cherish our time and memories that we had with him.
There will be no service held at this time.
