Born in Boise Idaho, John passed away peacefully at the Cariboo Memorial Hospital in Williams Lake, B.C.
John was predeceased by parents Jim and Florence Tucker, brother Bill Tucker and Phyllis Martel (Ned).
John is survived by his wife Elaine and daughter Jennifer Nolan (Ian) sisters Mary Telfer, Sherry Anderson and brother Richard E Tucker, numerous nieces and nephews.
John was a Search Manager and believed strongly in the value of Search and Rescue, being a volunteer member of this group for over 40 years from the Hazeltons to South Cariboo, his passion was in the field of tracking, and as a Sign Cutter, he travelled all over B.C., Alberta and Washington teaching this skill.
John was also RCMP auxiliary for a number of years. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He leaves a huge legacy and will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
