It is with great sadness, that the family of Joan Isabel Stonehouse announce her passing on April 7th, 2016 in Williams Lake, BC at the age of 80. She passed away peacefully, at home, with family by her side.
Joan will be lovingly remembered and missed by her husband Donald of 57 years, her daughter Susan (Kevin) Woodward, and her grandsons Andrew and Trevor, all of Williams Lake. She will also be loving remembered and missed by her sisters Lois (Fred) Hayward, Wendy (Bill) McNaughton and her brothers Alex (Diane) Biddlecombe and David Biddlecombe, many nieces and nephews, as well as many life time friends.
Special thanks to Dr. Fedor, the Home Care Nurses and home support workers for your wonderful compassionate care of our wife and mom.
There will be no service, however, in May there will be a private family gathering to celebrate Joan’s life and love, in Qualicum Beach, BC.
In lieu of flowers, if you wish, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the BC Lung Association.
