November 7, 1928 - September 28, 2018
Jean entered the presence of her Lord and Saviour on September 28, 2018. Jean was predeceased by her daughter Louise, husbands Walter Dorig and Frank Yablonski and her brother Arnold. She is survived by her brothers: Ted, Gerry (Kathy), Sisters: Edna, Judy (James), Evelyn, sister in law Carol, two sons: Larry and Glen, her step-daughters: Christine and Darlene, her step-son Frank, her grandchildren: Brandy (Dennis) and Kenneth and great grandchildren Lily-Jean and Ethan, Ryan and Jared.

Jean touched so many lives in so many ways. Jean was well known for her raw humour, and her quick wit, sure to raise an eyebrow or a good chuckle from those who knew her. Jean loved life to its fullest, taking every opportunity to enjoy nature; painting or drawing these wonders of the world. Jean's love of God was evident in how she lived out her daily life; unparalleled care and generosity towards others. Not only did Jean praise God for blessings in life, she leaned on Him for peace and strength in the difficult times, and in the last few weeks of life, was eager to meet her eternal Father. She is greatly missed, but those who were fortunate enough to have her in their life, have her indelible mark on their hearts forever.

There will be a celebration of life for Jean on November 7 @ 6:30 at the Cariboo Community Church, followed by fellowship and refreshments. As per Jean's request, a casual celebration of life will also be held in the summer in the Chilcotin.
