Peacefully sleeping, resting at last, the world's weary trouble and trials are past. In silence she suffered, in patience she bore, Till God called her home to suffer no more.

Jean Hogarth passed away peacefully at age 88. She is fondly remembered for her kindness, compassion and loving nature. Jean gave without selfishness to anyone who called upon her. A loving wife, mother and grandmother to not only her own family but to many children she considered god children.

Strong-willed even to the very end she was one of the longest residing patients at the Williams Lake Seniors Village where she lived her final 14 years with dementia. We are very grateful to the staff at WLSV for the years of love and dedication to her and the family.

Jean is survived by her husband George, her daughters Eileen, Ann (Ed), and Julie (Phil). Her two granddaughters Dawn (Kevin) and Tina (Brandon) along with three great grandchildren Kalli, Robyn and Dryden.

She is also survived by a brother Derek (Bernice) of the UK. Jean is predeceased by son in law Roy (Eileen) and her beloved dog Bonnie.

In lieu of flowers please make donations in Jeans memory to the SPCA. A ceremony will be held in the spring at the Serenity Garden in the Williams Lake Cemetery.
