Bruce was born in Williams Lake
Schooling in McLeese Lake, Fernbrook and Williams Lake and graduating from Columneetza in 1969.
He was a ranch hand, cowboy, logger, equipment operator, among many other handyman jobs and finished his working career at West Fraser Sawmills. His work took him to all parts of the Cariboo and spent time in Alberta as well.
He had an unnatural talent for wood carving making many beautiful bird houses for family and friends among other intricate and beautiful carving work.
He is predeceased by both his parents, Zander and Georgina Robertson his sister Debbie Fofonoff and son Kalob.
He is survived by his longtime companion Rene Gentles (nee Perry) and stepdaughter Shari, as well as brothers Lauren, Cameron (Maryon) and Ian (Deline) as well as many cousins, nephews and nieces.
Bruce suffered almost a lifetime of a rare cancer that finally took his life.
We will all sadly miss him, especially his never-ending supply of jokes and good humour.
No service will be held as per his wishes - a gathering at the Family Cemetery is planned for Spring/Summer 2022 .
