In loving memory ~
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Jacqueline Webster (Webber). Jackie suffered a stroke and died in Kamloops Royal Inland Hospital on May 15, 2023, at age 80. Predeceased by her mother (Edith) and her father (James) Webber. Jackie is survived by her younger brother Jim Webber (Carreen) and nephews Chris and Andrew and her two children Jason Webster (Tasha) and granddaughter Harper; and Lara Roorda (Joel) and grandchildren Emma, Kyla and Curtis. Jackie was born in England in 1942 and came to Canada in her early 20's. She worked as a teacher in the lower mainland before marrying and starting a family in Vernon, B.C. She had a great love of nature and green spaces and treasured her time living on the hobby farm on the foothills of Silver Star Mountain. She later moved to Vernon to be closer to her job and the many after-school activities of her children. Following retirement, Jackie moved to Williams Lake (2004) and was a doting grandmother, willing to help whenever and wherever she was needed. She was kind and loving and will be greatly missed in our lives. A celebration of life will be held at the Seniors Activity Centre, 176 4th Ave N, Williams Lake, B.C., on Saturday September 9th, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. All are welcome to come help remember Jackie.
