It is with great sadness that the beloved family of Issie Toews announce her passing on March 28, 2016, after a brief battle with cancer. She passed very peacefully with family by her side.
Issie will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 60 years Larry, her daughter Brenda (Leroy) Verboom, sons Dale (Christine) and Roger (Laura). Grandchildren Shandi (Jason) Colton, Forrest, Tristin and Dylan Toews and Connor & Corbin Toews. Her beautiful little great granddaughters Liara and Jade Colton.
Issie is also lovingly remembered by brothers George (Florence) Bott, Alec (Phyliss) Bott, and Danny (Terry) Bott, numerous nieces and nephews and many wonderful friends.
Special thanks to Dr. Fedor for your wonderful care of our wife and mom and your kind words of encouragement for our family, to the 2nd floor nurses at the hospital and to the wonderful staff at Deni House for your kind care and compassion towards our wife and mom in her final days.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, April 9th at 2:30 pm at the Williams Lake Seniors Activity Centre. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to B.C. Children’s Hospital or a charity of your choice.
