It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Irmi (Irmtraud) Wachter.
She persevered through the decline of her health for many years.
Irmi was born in Haldensleben, Germany. She was a proud wife to Jurgen and a loving mother to Henning and Jens. Irmi and Jurgen immigrated to Canada in 1982 and settled in Springhouse, B.C. Irmi thrived when surrounded by friends and family. They retired to Penticton in 2008, where they enjoyed walks along the many beaches and the warm summers.
Irmi often recited the meaning of the name Penticton... "A place to stay forever".
Irmi was predeceased by her husband Jurgen (February 7th, 2021). They are survived by their sons Henning (Rose), and Jens (Nicole), 5 grandchildren and good friends Anita Frank & Eugene Dakins.
