In Loving Memory ~
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Inge Peter on 17 July, 2023 after several years of struggle with Alzheimer's.
Inge is predeceased by her husband Walter and her son Klaus who passed away in 2020.
She is survived by her remaining 5 children, 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Inge was born on December 1934 in Neviges, Germany, where she met and married Walter. They had a life filled with adventure, moving over 25 times and having 6 children over 3 continents, settling in western Canada in 1964. Inge had a knack for turning a house into a home.
Inge and Walter spent 31 years in Williams Lake. Inge is well remembered for providing hardy meals to the many hands at the former Soda Creek Ranch.
Inge loved to cross-stitch, most notably her stunning Christmas stockings for her grandchildren. She also enjoyed reading, crocheting doilies and throws. Inge was known for her hard work - always busy and rarely sitting still.
She took much pleasure in her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was always there for a hug and a cuddle.
