February 6, 1932 - February 15, 2019
Hugh Edgar Chappell, age 87, our beloved Dad, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of February 15th at Nanoose Bay, Vancouver Island. In January 1957 he married our Mom, Evelyn Hayton) and they had three children, living in Vancouver, Coquitlam, Deep Bay & Union Bay from 1957 to 1996. Later on, Hugh reconnected with Doreen (nee Paul) & they were married in 2002, settling in Sorrento, BC, then finally back to the Island. He is survived & honoured by us, his children Roxanne (Van) of Comox, Steven (Julie) of Ucluelet , Bradley (Aleta) & our sons Hayes & Cowan of Headquarters, his loving wife Doreen, her children, their families; & all of his extended family & friends across western Canada. There will be a memorial for our Dad in May, here at the ranch on the Island.
