It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of beloved Huda. Huda is survived by her daughter Ocean Diachina and Husband Harry Diachina. Huda was a very loving and caring person who was always trying to find a way to help people. She was a great ideas person and was always trying to figure out how to encourage others, and to go for their dreams.
Huda was born and raised in Kuwait and went abroad to the U.S. to study at university. She took a break from studying in her last year and toured Canada from the east coast to the west coast in her Honda Civic. Her last stop was the city of Victoria, and she was about to get her car in line for the ferry back to the U.S. when she met Harry selling his paintings at the harbour. They fell in love, married and had one child their daughter Ocean.
Huda often sang her happy little song..." I was on my way to the ferry when I met my husband Harry"
She was in love with nature too and would care for animals and do what was ever in her power to make sure our dogs, cats, sheep, chickens and birds were always warm, safe, happy and well fed.
Huda's favorite thing was to explore, camp, canoe, fish and sit by a campfire and drink tea. She had polio ( from the live oral vaccine) since she was 11 months old and she wore a full leg brace but her spirit was so strong she refused to let it slow her down.
She said her miracle in life was having her daughter Ocean. She was a very loving wife with a fantastic sense of humor and a natural born mom who was devoted to her daughter Ocean's health and happiness.
She will be greatly missed by her family in Kuwait. She is predeceased by her sister Nadia Alabdulaali. She is survived by her mother Sameera Al Shwaykee, Her brothers, Soud Alabdulaali, Saad Alabdulaali, Fasil Alabdulaali and sisters Khloud Alabdulaali, and Needa Alabdualli, and many, many nieces and nephews who all loved her playful ways and being showered with love and affection by her.
Huda always had a smile for anybody she met.
She was born into a humble family and her father was Abdullaziz Alabdullaali, an extremely honest, wise, religious, honorable and loving man who devoted his life to his wife and family. He was greatly respected in Kuwait. Her mother was devoted to her children who were the center of her attention and taught them love is all that matters.
Rest in peace Huda, all our Love to You from Harry and Ocean Diachina.
