Wiley was raised in Miocene and ranched on the family homestead until 1959. He served his country valorously in WWII and was also a lifelong member of the Masonic Lodge. For the next 38 years he ranched in the interior of BC, retiring to Fox Valley in 1996.

He will be remembered for his gentleness with both people and animals - perhaps the original “whisperer”. He leaves a huge hole in the lives of us who loved him dearly.

A life well-lived.

A Memorial Tea will be held Sunday, June 13 at the Miocene Hall from 2:30 until 4:30.
