Helen Matlock
January 19, 1930 ~ February 21, 2012
Born in Elk Point, Alberta on January 19, 1930, it is with sadness that the family of Helen Matlock announces her peaceful passing on February 21, 2012 at Cariboo Memorial Hospital at the age of 82 years.
She was predeceased by her husband Peter Matlock; sisters Ruby Regresh and Anne Kowal. Helen is lovingly remembered by her children Randy (Ellie) Matlock, Garry (Crystal) Matlock, Iris (Rudy) Hawryluk, Terry Matlock, Jackie (Bill) Povelofskie, Carol (Archie) DiCecco and Donnie Matlock, 16 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Helen is also remembered by her sisters Marcy Dacyk, Fran Helgeson and brother George Gelech. She will be dearly missed by family and friends.
A Funeral Service for Helen will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Compassionate Care Funerals with Ron Malmas officiating, 180 Comer St., Williams Lake. A reception is to follow at the funeral home. Cremation will be held at Cariboo Crematorium.
