With great sadness the family announces the passing of Gladys (Carpenter) Blachford on January 24, 2015 in Fort St. John. She was born August 23, 1919 and lived many years in the Cariboo-Chilcotin. She was predeceased by her first husband, Byron (Bud) Carpenter and her second husband, John Allison Blachford. She is survived by her brother Louis Bell (Pat), San Jose, sister Avis Rothe, Ness City, Kansas and four children, Joy (Tom) McCoy, Ness City Kansas, Carol Martin, Fort St. John, Anne Marie (John) Wetherill, Chilliwack, and son Ben (Joan) Carpenter, Kelowna; stepson Bob (Lynn) Blachford, Hanceville and stepdaughter Bonnie Robertson, McLeese Lake; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.
