In Loving Memory ~
It is with sad hearts that we say goodbye to Geraldine (Gerri) Frances Elsie Teppema on January 11, 2024 with her family by her side.
Gerri was born on Friday the 13th of May 1949 in New Westminster, growing up between Port Coquitlam and Horsefly. Gerri met her husband Ron at her uncle Jimmy Graham's Guide Camp in Horsefly marrying him in 1967.
They built a 285 acre ranch from the ground up together and raised their two children, Theresa and Leonard.
Gerri's passion and legacy is not only the ranch and life they created but her dedication to the Horsefly Lake Provincial Park. She was the operator there for 46 years. During her time at the park she met many interesting people and even some undesirable ones.
She saw many generations of families enjoy the park and has many long-time friends from the wonderful experiences she created for families through the years.
She is lovingly remembered by her children Theresa, Leonard (Jennifer), Grandchildren Maria (Geoff) and Jack. Great grandchildren Salem and Rylan.
Her sister Jackie (Drew), niece Debbie (Gary and sons) and nephew Shawn. Her sister-in-law Elske Veninga, nephew Albert (Kathie) Veninga; niece, Teresa (Mallory and sons) Mack.
A celebration of life will be held in the spring at the GT Ranch.
