It is with deep sadness the family of Genevieve Hogman announces her peaceful passing on Sunday Sept 18, 2022.
Genevieve was born in Saskatchewan June 3, 1933 and was the second youngest of 10 children, she was the last surviving Kohlen sibling.
On February 18, 1956 Genevieve married Albert Hogman and together they had 5 children: Celeste Schulz (Keith), Fred Hogman (Jen Collins) Monica Lachapelle (Fernand) Tom Hogman (Gail) and Melissa Smylie (Jim).
She was predeceased by Bert in Feb of 2008.
Mom adored her 11 grandchildren and was blessed to know all her 7 great grandchildren. She was immensely proud of her family and as her health declined she found great joy and laughter hearing stories and seeing pictures of their antics and accomplishments.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Williams Lake Seniors Village for their care of our mom over the years and also for the care and support they provided the family in her final days.
A funeral mass was held Sept 27th in Williams Lake.
