G. Wes Atchison passed peacefully while sleeping at Harrison complex care home in Surrey. Predeceased by his wife Trudy in 2008.
He will be greatly missed by sons Doug (Nina) and Len (Donna), five granddaughters: Tracey Gibson (Scott), Lana Davidson, Barbara Caldwell (Stephen), Maureen Atchison, Patricia Atchison; and six great-grandchildren. Survived by brothers Clifford and Gerald as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A long-time resident of Williams Lake, active in the golfing community, a city councilor and founder of Lake City Ford Sales and Services LTD. Awarded a life membership in Kiwanis International and also served as Lieutenant Governor for the Pacific Northwest District of Kiwanis.
Private family services held January 20, 2017. Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 22 at 1:00 pm at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre 14831 - 28 Avenue, Surrey, BC.
