Francis Joseph (Joe) Baehr 1926 - 2011
Joe passed away peacefully in Williams Lake on the evening of July 10, 2011 while his loving wife Jean recited their evening prayers.
Joe was born November 15, 1926 in Winnipeg, MB, moved to Quinton, SK as a young boy and later to Woodpecker, BC in 1946 where he farmed for 65 years. Joe and Jean moved to the Williams Lake Seniors Village on April 1, 2011.
Joe is survived by his wife of 33 years Jean, brother John (Jane), sisters Anne Fischer and Mary Baehr, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews as well as many friends and acquaintances. He was predeceased by his parents William and Julia, brothers Paul and William, sisters Katherine and Alma.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 15, 2011 at 2:00pm at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 877 Patricia Blvd., Prince George, BC with Father Pier Pandolfo Celebrant.
Cremation took place at Cariboo Crematorium in Williams Lake with Inurnment of Joe’s cremated remains in the Prince George City Cemetery with his mother Julia and sister Katherine.
As Joe would say “It’s a job we all have to do and now it’s done!”
