On December 11, 2011, after a short battle with cancer, Florence “Edith” Keenan peacefully left this life of 89 years at the Williams Lake Seniors Village.
Born on May 3, 1922, Edith is survived by her daughter Nola Keenan-Toop (Marshall Toop); granddaughters Megan (Gord) Menzel and Keely Keenan; grandsons Rohan Keenan
and Chay Keenan-Toop; great grandsons
Justis and Rylee Menzel and Austin Keenan-Street;
sister Fran (Bob) Hazelton and sister-in-law Thora Arnold-Smith. She was predeceased by her husband Jack in 1993, daughter Margo in 1992 and brother Keith Arnold-Smith in 2007. A private family gathering will be held in spring 2012. Cremation was held at Cariboo Crematorium.
