It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ernest (Ernie) John Rhodes at the Williams Lake Seniors Village on April 14, 2011. He was born in Maple Creek, Sask on September 24, 1918 to Ernest and Dorothy Rhodes, the eldest of four children.
He was predeceased, by his wife of 52 years, Phyllis (Creber), brother Lloyd Rhodes, sister Irene Townsend and son-in-law Jamie Trott.
Ernie is survived by daughters, Janet Colussi, Marjorie Trott, sons Dick Rhodes (Deb) and Brian Rhodes (Diane). Grandchildren Tony Colussi (Roxanne); Dan Colussi (Melissa); Shannon Trott (Aron); Kevin Trott (Erin); Cassidy Rhodes and Chris Rhodes, four great-grandchildren, sister Dorothy Smith, sister-in-law Lena Rhodes and numerous nieces and nephews.
As a family we would like to express our heartfelt thank you to Dr. Glenn Fedor and the Williams Lake Seniors Village (Second Floor OLD) for their care and support over the past years.
No service held at Ernie’s request. Cremation with interment at a later date in the Chilliwack Cemetery, Chilliwack, BC.
